<Original nose>After<Surgery after>After<After removal><Original nose nostrils>After<Nostrils after removal surgery>Hello. I had rhinoplasty on March 3. Originally, I was only going to have revision eye surgery, but because my bulbous nose was a complex of mine, I wanted just the nasal tip to be slightly more defined. The doctor said that if I had surgery only on the nasal tip, it could become a saddle nose, so he also recommended doing the nasal bridge. So I had rhinoplasty together with the eye surgery. I think the problem was that I rushed into the surgery without researching anything enough.. Can a nose really be this hard.. Everything from speaking to making facial expressions was so, so uncomfortable, and the pressure and foreign-body sensation all felt artificial. I didn’t have side effects or an inflammatory reaction, but I was so stressed that I felt I couldn’t live with this nose. So I chose early removal. I told the hospital that I wanted early removal, and the director said it is better to live by choosing what I want than to live under stress, so I made up my mind. The surgery itself had gone well. The nose shape was pretty too. People around me said, “Why remove it? The discomfort is only temporary,” “It’s a waste of money,” and “Wait and see,” but it was so uncomfortable when washing my face or applying lotion, and I couldn’t tolerate the columella area being hard for the rest of my life and the artificial feeling, so I had it removed. I decided that if I was uncomfortable, removing it was the right choice, regardless of what people around me said. I didn’t know that my naive thought of wanting to become prettier and just improve my weak points would make things this hard for me.
First, for the rhinoplasty, I had a 4 mm nasal bridge implant, bulbous nose correction, ear cartilage, septal extension, and a slight dorsal hump shaved down. If I had known that septal extension remains hard even years after surgery, I wouldn’t have done it.. It was my fault for doing it without researching enough. Still, when I went to the hospital on day 13 after rhinoplasty, fortunately the director had an opening in the surgery schedule, and I had been fasting for over 8 hours, so I was able to have surgery right away. I’m completely satisfied with the removal surgeryㅠㅠ I didn’t have everything removed; the doctor said there was no need to remove the nasal tip cartilage, so only that remains in the tip. It feels like my nasal bridge is a little lower, but it doesn’t show in photos, and if anything the nose shape feels cleaner than before. Most importantly, the foreign-body sensation is gone, so I’m completely satisfied. It’s the first day after surgery, so I don’t think there is any contracture or side effect yet, but I think I’ll know after some time passes. As of now, there are no problems. The nostril shape is similar, and although the nasal bridge is taped, the shape feels more refined. I was very worried because they said they shaved down the slight dorsal hump, but the shape doesn’t seem to have changed much.. I’ll be able to check accurately after removing the tape, but even if there is a little contour irregularity, I’m satisfied now. I’ll write another review after removing the tape!!
After plastic surgery, my image changed so much.. My impression became stronger too.. I was stressed, but now that my nose is lower, I look softer, and I’m going to live satisfied with just looking like myself. Because I got greedy for no reason, I had my nose opened twice in one month, my daily life was affected, and I lost so much time and money.. I even developed insomnia, sigh.. It was such a stressful 2 weeksㅠ_ㅠ.. You really, really have to think carefully before getting rhinoplasty.. Since I had it removed not long after surgery, the previous swelling is still there, so my nose is still blocked.. The mucous membrane inside is swollen.. I hope the functional parts recover quickly too. If you have any questions, please leave a comment! I’ll reply as soon as I check.
