Nose Surgery Review (Week 3)

After <Post-op 1>After <Post-op 2>After <Post-op 3>Before <Pre-op>*Before writing this review, I want to say that this is not a post unconditionally recommending nose surgery. This is a post containing my personal opinion after I also went around to many places in my own way, chose a hospital carefully, and had surgery.

I went to consultations at several places, excluded places that recommended donated costal cartilage, and decided after considering places that could do it with autologous cartilage as much as possible.

Honestly, until right before surgery, I was so, so scared thinking that side effects might happen to me, but thankfully I think the result is good, so I am satisfied. I also think the swelling is less than I was worried it would be. The bruising seems to last a little long, but when I go out, I cover it with makeup.

On the day of surgery, with the surgical area and my mouth, people really say it is hard to breathe, your mouth gets extremely dry, and so on, and I personally experienced the discomfort I had only read about in reviews. I woke up while sleeping too, and once I actually went through it, it was so uncomfortable and hard I felt like I was going to die. The next day, after removing the cotton, it was better than the day before, but the discomfort did not completely disappear, still, it was better than having it blocked with cotton.

After taking off the splint, at first there was a slightly tight pulling sensation around my mouth, but as time passed, a lot of the uncomfortable things went away.

And I have sometimes seen posts saying that when you use autologous cartilage, the nasal tip drops, but since it has not even been a month since my nose surgery yet, I do not really know yet whether the nasal tip is dropping, and for now I am very satisfied.

If someone asks about nose surgery, I would recommend it, but instead I recommend that you really look into it a lot and think about it a lot before doing it.
