First, before surgery, my right side of the nose kept getting blocked, so I ended up getting examined at an ENT clinic. I had a deviated septum, and since it was a condition that could be treated with surgery, I was looking into surgery and came across clinic K in Apgujeong. To be honest, I was going to have the surgery at an ENT clinic, but since I also wanted cosmetic improvement, I think I chose a plastic surgery clinic.
The points I told the director I wanted to improve during the consultation were: 1. I wanted a more defined nasal bridge when viewed from the front 2. I wanted to improve my bulbous nose 3. I wanted my nasal bridge from the side to be raised naturally without looking excessive
As for the surgery date, the consultation manager reflected my preference as much as possible, so I was able to have surgery on the date I wanted, and on the day of the consultation, I had a procedure to dissolve my filler. After surgery, when the splint was removed, the area between my eyebrows looked unnatural, so I had a consultation and found out I had blood pooling between the eyebrows. Honestly, during that process, it was hard having to visit the clinic about 2-3 times a week to remove the blood. More than anything, the mental anxiety was the hardest part, but thanks to removing it as quickly as possible, now that I’m 3 months post-op, I’m doing fine without any problems.
Currently, the major swelling has all gone down, and I think the minor swelling is still going down little by little. In the beginning, because of the blood pooling, the bruising took a really long time to fade and there was a lot of swelling, but from the 2-month mark, the swelling started going down rapidly. I worried a lot and cried, thinking what if the swelling never goes down, or what if the blood pooling between my eyebrows continues and I have to remove the silicone, but now that it has passed, I feel so grateful and relieved ㅜ^ㅜ,,
The changes after surgery were: Because of COVID, I haven’t been meeting acquaintances much, so only people close to me saw how I looked after surgery. Since the surgery aimed for a natural look, some people reacted by saying something changed, but they were confused whether I had lost weight or gotten filler haha
I’ll attach comparison photos from before and after surgery, plus photos from 1 to 3 months after, so I hope they help others too! I think I deleted the photos from when the swelling and bruising were severe because they looked grossㅜ I didn’t mention the clinic name because I wasn’t sure if it was okay to mention it,,!
