Day 2 review of pre-surgical orthodontic treatment for upper teeth

1-1 After contacting the hospital manager, I made a Naver reservation at the affiliated dental clinic, and the hospital also connected me right away, so on the same day I had impressions + CT + X-ray + consultation done.

Honestly, every teacher I happened to meet was so kind,, At the hospital where I first had a consultation and impressions taken, I had to use that tool myself to hold my mouth open and stuff, but here I could just stay still, so it was so comfortable.

The director also consulted well ,,,,,,, I was a bit surprised because he had a sweet side.

1-2 After the diagnosis, I heard the diagnosis results (surgery-first or orthodontics-first) by phone << I requested this ^_^ Too lazy to goㅎ

First, because I had an upper tooth extracted when I was in elementary school, to match symmetry, I have to extract one tooth on the opposite side too. ,, The director said I need one extraction, and I was like, uh,,, wow,,,ㅎ may I ask which tooth you’ll extract? and he said they need to remove the partner next to the canine,,,, Extraction while fully conscious is scarier than surgery. Anesthesia hurts so freaking much, they put an injection in the gums ㅜㅜㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ

And it was right to start orthodontic treatment immediately, but I ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ didn’t even get to eat my last supper, and I didn’t want to just trot over and start pre-surgical orthodontics that same day, so I asked if I could do it next week because I wanted to eat something delicious first. He accepted it, saying, “Of course, the last supper is important,”ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ So after the diagnosis explanation, I made an appointment for the next week from that day.

1-3 For my last supper, I ate all kinds of things. From braised short ribs to mala tang, rice cakes, bungeoppang, jelly, gum, tendon, ramen, kimchi, etc. I think I ate braised short ribs endlessly.

2 On the day of orthodontics, I didn’t really feel much pain, just discomfort, a weird feeling, and some pulling, but after sleeping and waking up, now on day 2, wow,, it hurts,,,, It’s to the point where I wonder if I can eat,, and my pronunciation is a bit strong,, The “s” sound comes out like “t”,, I really can’t eat anything even a little hard.

Sympathy emoticon
