Before before before after after after after This is my 3-month review after two-jaw surgery and facial contouring surgery! Since middle school, whenever I went for dental checkups, I was told I was a case for two-jaw surgery and that orthodontic treatment alone wouldn’t work. In reality, after I became a college student and went to hospitals because I wanted braces, I was told that proceeding with orthodontic treatment alone could actually have a negative aesthetic effect, so I had just kept worrying about it ㅠㅠ Then, while working at a university hospital and being exposed to many things, I started thinking that two-jaw surgery doesn’t necessarily have to be scary or difficult! Of course, it’s not easy or simple.. Anyway, while looking into it, I ended up having surgery this June at Y Oral! After the consultation, I received two-jaw surgery and two types of facial contouring. I posted reviews before for the day of surgery and days 1, 2, and 3, but since then time has really flown by and the swelling has gone down quickly, so these days I’m living my daily life so comfortably that I barely remember the day of surgery haha
My job involves dealing with people and talking a lot, and my pronunciation has improved a lot and the swelling has gone down a lot too. Now, if I don’t bring it up first, most people don’t even know I had surgery haha First of all, as I continue post-surgical orthodontic treatment and feel my occlusion gradually aligning, I think I’ve found emotional stability,, Right after surgery, even if I heard that the surgery went well, my bite didn’t fit, so my pronunciation wasn’t good and honestly I felt anxious too. But now I have none of those worries at all, and I can eat most foods well haha. My front teeth occlusion still doesn’t fit, so I can’t bite noodles off, but except for that, I can eat everything except tough foods, so I’m happy ㅠㅠ And I’ve been hearing a lot that I look pretty from friends and people I meet through work, so meeting people has become so, so happy for me ㅎ_ㅎ Maybe because I had surgery on my square jaw and chin too, my lower face seems smoother and slimmer ㅠㅠ Living while hearing lots of compliments and nice words makes my heart feel more joyful and happy too,, so I truly haven’t regretted having surgery even once haha I go to the hospital once a month for orthodontics, and for surgery, at this 3-month point I saw Director Lee Seok-jae and had my progress checked. There were no special issues, and he asked in detail whether I had any discomfort in daily life or any questions, so I once again felt grateful and came home haha. King of kindness bb
