Phew. It has been one month since I had two contouring procedures (square jaw and chin advancement) at N-o-t-e Plastic Surgery in late September 2024.
The surgery involved partially removing the square jaw and advancing the chin by 4.8 mm. In the early stage after surgery, there was a lot of swelling in the chin, so it felt like the chin had become longer, but starting from week 2, the big swelling began to go down, and as things gradually settled, the chin instead felt shorter, and as the recessed chin was brought forward, a more refined look appeared.
According to the director, there is still a lot of swelling left to go down, so it seems I’ll have to wait a bit longer to know for sure. In particular, the candy swelling is quite severe.
Meanwhile, although the result still needs a bit more time to observe, I keep thinking that the doctor’s surgical skill is truly amazing.. Even on the CT images, I could see that it had been handled very neatly, and it seems they really place a lot of importance on the relationship between soft tissue and bone.
For contouring surgeries with this level of difficulty, being obsessive about detail and extremely meticulous really seems to be important. Director Yu fits that perfectly.
The staff are also really pretty and kind, which is a bonus..
