In 2018, I had cartilage tying, an ear-cartilage columellar strut, and hump correction for 2.2 million won in Cheonan. As expected, get surgery in Seoul.. (After removal, I checked and it turned out it wasn’t ear cartilage but Medpor... The doctor who removed it showed me that Medpor had been inside... The doctor at the first clinic, that bastard... can’t I sue..?) It’s not that I had side effects, but I was so anxious that I had it removed! I had the removal surgery in Seoul in January of this year. To tell you the result, I’m extremely satisfied. The price was in the mid-2 million won range, but after surgery there was an added fee because it was Medpor, so I think it came out to the low 3 million won range. (Medpor removal, simple cartilage repositioning I think?, and it was done closed.)
When I see people worrying about removal, they say the nose looks more upturned after removal... what if inflammation occurs... but I was completely fine. As the cartilage tying was released, the pinched-looking nasal tip disappeared, and the nasal tip also came down. So it looks much more natural, and I can totally do a pig nose!!!! And the doctor said the contracture period would start after 1 month, and seriously... it did come. It hurt when touched, felt stiff, and hard.. lol Rehabilitation is very important at this time, so I made sure to massage it for 10-15 minutes every single day no matter what. I still keep massaging it consistently. There is almost no stiff feeling!! I guess the contracture period ends at around 5 months. These days, there is really almost no stiffness. I think my nose is about 80-90%?? of my old nose. Still, it looks natural, and my current nose is pretty too, so I’m satisfied!! I like that there is nothing inside my nose and that it is soft haha
Anyway, if you’re considering nasal removal surgery, definitely do it!! Looking in the mirror was always stressful for me too, and I was always worried about whether inflammation would occur, but after removal surgery, I feel so comfortable, I don’t think about it, I can do a pig nose well, and I’m so happy~~~ I hope everyone gets surgery at a good place!!!
