I had my septal support graft and cartilage removed at the place where I had surgery 6 or 7 months ago.
No matter how long I wait, it isn't coming down any further haha Only the swelling went down a little; the shape is almost the same as it was at 3 months, and I think it'll probably stay like this going forward too.. Even if it subtly goes down from here, it's still far from getting close to my original nasal tip.
Around the first month, maybe because of the swelling, the nasal tip looked like it had come down more, so I thought it was a success, but it wasn't.
I asked them to remove everything and only tie the nasal tip cartilage, but the columella area is still hard, and the columella and nasal tip feel firm in a straight line. It kind of seems like they tied part of the support graft, the suture, and my nasal tip cartilage together so it wouldn't droop. I should have just not requested anything.
Open surgery is too burdensome for me now, so I'm planning to go for a consultation at GYS, almost the only hospital I know that can remove the support graft through a closed approach. I'm going to have all the tying sutures removed there too... Looking at reviews, there are reviews saying it stays hard even after several months, but I haven't seen any reviews saying an upturned nose caused by surgery didn't come down./
Even if people call them brokers or whatever, it's my only hope ㅠㅠㅠ Ha..... I'm going through so much because of a doctor with zero aesthetic sense
