I had a consultation for chin augmentation surgery. The consultation method itself was the same as at other hospitals. It was a format where they took a CT scan, then asked about the face shape I wanted, then explained how it would be good to perform the surgery, and asked if I had any questions. But I’m not sure whether the doctor was tired or whether that’s just their usual style, but they did not proactively explain what kinds of side effects can occur with this kind of surgery. You probably need to have an adequate understanding of the surgery to be able to decide a lot about the surgical direction during the consultation.
