Before <before surgery / week 1> Before <before surgery / week 5> <week 2> <week 5> This is my 1-month review of 3 rhinitis procedures + implant-free rhinoplasty
I wanted a natural line, so I had consultations at 5 places, and Director Jung Tae-young seemed like he would make the prettiest, least obvious line. Also, my rhinitis was severe, so I chose an ENT director.
I showed photos of Shin Se-kyung and Lee Hyori, and he said it was a straight-to-slightly-curved line.
My nasal skin is thin and my eyes are a bit close-set, so he said it would be better not to put in silicone. I decided on implant-free surgery and only raised the nasal tip using septal cartilage and ear cartilage.
I didn’t ask how many millimeters, so I don’t know.
When the splint was first removed, it was so swollen and the nasal tip looked lifted, so I was worried, but I thought it must be swelling and waited.
Weeks 2-3 were when I liked my side profile the most,
but after a month, I started working again, and the swelling has been going down day by day, so it feels a bit disappointingㅠ
From the front, it still has a bit of a bulbous-nose feeling.
As for the rhinitis effect, after a month my runny nose has stopped and crusts don’t form, and one side is completely open, but the other side still feels blockedㅠ
At my last visit at week 3, the director said the septum can’t become perfectly straight, so one side may inevitably be a bit blocked, and that it would be better than now once more swelling goes down. But now at week 5, there still hasn’t been improvement, and the spot where a dissolvable stitch fell out is stinging, so I’m going in on Saturday to have it checked and will ask about it then too.
