Before <before surgery> before <before surgery> after <recent> after <recent> I totally understand why the anxiety phase comes at the one-month mark.. so I’m leaving an update after a long time.. Now that I’m in the stable period, about 7 months in, I’m writing again.. I was foolish to think the real anxiety would end after 1 month. Even at 3 months, no, even up to 6 months, the minor swelling kept going down.. And whenever I got even a little skin trouble in between, I contacted the hospital wondering if it might be inflammation; when my nose felt tight because it was dry, I contacted them wondering if it might be contracture.. Everything felt connected to side effects. But of course it would. I had 3 mm of silicone placed on my nose and cartilage added, so it makes sense that the skin feels more pulled than before... Thinking about it now, I just feel sorry, but I’m only grateful to the hospital staff who explained each thing and reassured me despite all my over-the-top messages... Now my nose shape has settled naturally, and I’m living satisfied. Definitely, as time passed, the tightness and the hardness at the nasal tip have eased somewhat, though of course it has to be firmer than before surgeryㅇㅇ! As for skin trouble, they said that right after surgery, since I couldn’t wash properly and had the splint on, sebum could get blocked and breakouts could appear for a while, and after some time they really stopped. I don’t normally have acne-prone skin So anyway, I’m satisfied I once saw a post saying to meet a conservative doctor who judges well what can and cannot be done, and that is so real. It makes no sense when someone says everything is possible. If you’re getting your nose done, I hope you have surgery with someone who explains the limits of your own nose..
