In the end, I corrected the slight hump and bulbous nose together, did the nasal bridge without an implant, and used ear cartilage + septal cartilage for the nasal tip. Also, because my skin is quite thin, they said there could be a step-off? between the nasal bridge and nasal tip, so they said they put dermis in that area to prevent a step-off. The director is really detailed and meticulous, and I liked that so much.
Before surgery, the director said that since my skin is thin and on the fair side, the surgery would turn out really pretty, and I got embarrassed and said, “Oh no, not at all~..” But when the splint came off and I saw my nose in the mirror for the first time, I blanked out because I wondered, is this really my nose? Then the director said, “How is it, I was right, wasn’t I~?” and I held back laughter and nodded.. Everyone has different clinics that suit them and that they feel drawn to, but personally, if you’re considering rhinoplasty, especially implant-free rhinoplasty, I recommend visiting the clinic where I had surgery at least once.
