From the front it looked a bit spread out, and from the side the nasal bridge looked clearly low, so… I wanted it to look like I had a nasal bridge from the side and to look neat.
So I didn’t plan to raise it excessively, and I consulted with places that would put in just an average 3-4 mm and smooth out the nasal bridge. I think recommendations were split between autologous costal cartilage and donated rib cartilage? Autologous costal cartilage felt burdensome and there was also the pain issue, so I excluded it and decided to use donated rib cartilage and septal cartilage. I liked that there was no pressure like, “Use donated rib cartilage” or “Use autologous costal cartilage.”
For now, I think I’m a case where it takes a little longer for the line to settle. When I look at other people’s reviews, both the shape and swelling seem to improve quickly lol Looking at my nose, I’m realizing all over again that swelling really varies by person. I’m satisfied because I feel like the nose shape is high and defined while giving a soft impression. As time passes, it’ll get a bit thinner, right? Especially the nasal tip, I want the shape to settle quickly, but they said it goes down last, so I’ve decided to wait.
