Smile LASIK review at an ophthalmology clinic in Gangnam

Gangnam ophthalmology clinic Smile LASIK review

My eyesight was around -1.75 and -2.0. I drive a lot in my daily life, including cars and bikes, and after being inconvenienced by it all my life, I got interested this time and searched for a lot of information through friends and acquaintances. The very next day, I went to Gangnam for a consultation.

I rarely had to go to an eye clinic in my life, so I was really scared and nervous. I arrived at 9 a.m., and there were so many people. I wondered if it really was a famous clinic. After writing down my date of birth and name and waiting, it was my turn.

I came thinking about Smile LASIK, so I naturally assumed I could get Smile LASIK, but they said they decide after running the tests. I had a very detailed examination through several doctors using a lot of equipment, including vision tests. It felt like about an hour had passed with the various tests, consultation, and waiting time. The doctors were all kind, listened well, and empathized with me. I had written down the things I was curious about and asked a lot of questions, and they answered everything well without leaving anything out. They also said there was a bigger discount if I had the surgery that same day, so I said I would go ahead with same-day surgery, and they said I could choose who would perform the surgery. I still said I wanted to be treated by the clinic director, ㅈㅇㅅ, who was the most famous, and after waiting about 30 minutes, I went into the operating room.

The dark, futuristic atmosphere was a little scary, but after I lay down and greeted the director, I must have looked a little intimidated, because they kept reassuring me that it wouldn't hurt and would be over quickly and told me not to worry. At that moment, I really felt much more at ease.

They anesthetized my eyes, and it seemed to be over in about 30 seconds per eye. After the surgery, when I first opened my eyes and came out of the operating room, I immediately felt that my vision was very cloudy and unfocused. But I was amazed because I could see text printed on walls that I normally shouldn't have been able to read, and signs with writing outside the window. The director said the surgery went well and to come back the next day to check the progress, so I went back to the hospital the next day. The next day, there was no stinging at all, only cloudiness.

During the consultation with the director, they said they had aimed for 1.0 vision originally, but it came out well at 1.2, so I felt even happier. And I really liked how they kept encouraging me endlessly. I also really liked it when they congratulated me ㅠ

It has now been one week since the surgery.

My vision and focus are both normal, and I can see clearly.

There is still a slight cloudiness left, but it is getting better day by day, and the clinic said there is no problem and that it will probably be perfect in 2 to 4 weeks.

I couldn't even start before because I was so afraid, but I never knew life without glasses could be this convenient and good.. Everyone really should do it..
