I went to this hospital simply because they said they would give me a discount since it was affiliated with my school (and the nurse was an acquaintance of a friend, so I got an acquaintance discount). I don’t remember the doctor’s name. I just had a consultation and went to the doctor I was assigned to. It was totally factory-like; I had surgery right after the consultation, and the surgery itself didn’t take long either. Maybe because it was SMILE LASIK, the recovery was definitely fast. I had surgery on Saturday and was able to go to work on Monday. But throughout work, my eyes stung, so I put in artificial tears every 5 minutes (I kind of regret this. I should have had the surgery later, but I’m impatient, so I just went ahead and did it right away). I didn’t originally have dry eye separately, and even after surgery I was fine. I don’t think you need to be too scared. It’s been almost a year and a half now, and I still don’t have eye stinging, and there isn’t much glare either. It’s fine, fine Likes 0
