While I had been continuing to consider vision correction surgery, I came to know about ㅇㅅㅇㅇ Ophthalmology Clinic through an acquaintance’s recommendation. My myopia was -4.5 and -4.0, so it was not high myopia, but my corneal thickness was very thin at 466 and 473, so I was diagnosed as being unable to have LASIK or LASEKㅜㅜ Actually, besides ㅇㅅㅇㅇ Ophthalmology Clinic, I had already visited other eye clinics and had examinations, so I wasn’t too sad about the opinion that only lens implantation surgery was possibleㅋㅋㅋ However, lens implantation surgery is very expensive, and unlike LASIK or LASEK, it is not performed by a machine but 100% by the doctor’s hands, so choosing a good hospital was difficult. ㅇㅅㅇㅇ Ophthalmology Clinic had two reference professors for lens implantation surgery, so it felt highly trustworthy, and since my acquaintance had surgery with Director ㅇㄷㅎ and was doing well, I chose ㅇㅅㅇㅇ Ophthalmology Clinic without a second thought. Because my astigmatism or myopia was not severe, I had the examination on Saturday and was able to have surgery right away on Monday. When I searched reviews, some people said it took several weeks or more because the lens had to be brought in from overseas, but I was glad and nervous that I could have surgery sooner than expected. The surgery felt like it took about 5 minutes, and there is a severe aching sensation behind the eyes. I think it continues until the day after surgery. Like people who had LASEK say, it does not sting or hurt, but there is an unpleasantly uncomfortable feeling. From about 4-5 hours after surgery, I started to see well, and there have been no side effects at all except for the aching feeling. From 3 days later, all daily activities are possible. I went to work starting the very next day after surgeryㅎㅎ As of now, one week later, the ring phenomenon seems to get a bit worse on rainy days and at night, and when I asked during my appointment, they said the ring phenomenon continues unless the lens is removedㅜㅜ I will probably need to adjust to the ring phenomenon too, but I absolutely, absolutely do not want to go back to my pre-surgery vision. Lens implantation surgery is expensive and takes a lot of thought, but I hope you choose a good doctor and a good hospital and find bright vision like I didㅎㅎ!
