Review of LASIK at ㅇㅅㅇㅇ Eye Clinic

Hello haha. I’m a 31-year-old man who has lived wearing glasses and contact lenses for almost 20 years.

I had heard so much about LASIK side effects that I was planning to just live without getting surgery,

but glasses and contacts were too inconvenient when exercising or playing in the water, and wearing contacts a lot seemed worse for my eyes, so I decided to get LASIK.

I live in Jeonju, and there were eye clinics famous for LASIK even in my neighborhood, but I had also heard a lot that any major surgery should definitely be done in Seoul.

Since eye surgery is important, after searching hard online and in cafes, I decided on the famous ㅇㅅㅇㅇ Eye Clinic in Seoul.

I took a day off on a weekday and had the examination and LASIK surgery on the same day. From the examination to the surgery, it took about 2-3 hours, and it was over quickly haha.

I went with a friend, holding hands, because we were going to get LASIK together without separate guardians.

It was my first surgery, so I was a bit scared, but Director ㅈㅇㅅ explained everything so kindly and reassured me, which was nice.

During the surgery, they even let me hold a doll and kept talking to me, so I was able to receive it without getting nervous.

Right after the surgery, I had glare, tears, and slight pain, but after an hour or two, it got better.

I don’t think walking around in bright places or driving after surgery would be possible.

To check whether the surgery went well the next day, I booked a motel just 1 minute away and stayed there overnight.

I had the checkup the next day, and the surgery went well, and my vision came out to 1.0.

If you just need a place to lie down with your eyes closed and do nothing, I recommend ㅉ Motel.

I was able to return to daily life right the day after surgery, and I only wore sunglasses until the day after surgery.

Some people wear UV-blocking glasses, but the doctor said there was no need for that.

I also think it’s a luxury to buy glasses after getting surgery when I had surgery to stop wearing glasses.

Since I put in eye drops and artificial tears often, I didn’t have dryness.

However, when looking at lights like a computer or monitor, my eyes were a bit dazzled, but after a month, it got better.

I went back for a checkup after a month, and they said the surgery went well and that I had managed it well.
