It’s already been 10 years since I had three types of facial contouring surgery. I did it in my mid-20s, and because I had a jaw and cheekbones that made my face look broad and flat, after surgery my facial lines looked more refined and I heard a lot that my face looked small, so my satisfaction was high. But inevitably, once I entered my 30s, sagging slowly started to appear ㅠ Those who have had facial contouring for as long as I have will know. Once sagging starts, nasolabial folds appear and jowls form along the jawline... As you age, sagging happens even without facial contouring, but cheek sagging after facial contouring has a distinctive sagging line. Until around year 6, I didn’t feel any sagging and lived very satisfied.. I guess it can’t be helped. Since the bone was cut.. Right now I’m managing it with laser lifting like Ultherapy, Shurink, and so on, but when lasers stop being effective and I get older, I think I’ll have to consider a facelift too. That said, I don’t regret having facial contouring. Even if I went back, rather than living with a broad, flat face, I think having a smaller face is better even if sagging comes later. Anyway, those considering facial contouring should think about it while taking sagging into account ㅠㅠ
My personal opinion is that if you’re going to do it, the sooner the better, and if you do it in your early 20s, you’ll be pretty for 10 years, so I recommend it. But if you’re in your 30s and your skin and tissue tend to lack elasticity, I think you should think about it a lot. Lifting costs are not small either, so you also need to think about aftercare ㅠ
Facial contouring clearly has things you gain and things you lose, and which side is better differs from person to person, so I’m leaving this review for reference~
