I had incision surgery, and because my eyelids were drooping, some eyelid tissue was removed. When I briefly fell asleep under anesthesia, I was given a local anesthetic injection in my eye. They said that because I have facial asymmetry, the two sides might turn out a little different, but the double eyelids ended up different on both sides. I am not sure whether an epicanthoplasty was done, and the Mongolian fold is still there. Six months after the surgery, it loosened, so I went back and had a buried suture method done again, but it loosened again.
