I had orthodontic treatment for almost 3 years in total, and I got my appliances removed this year! When I smiled, my gums showed a lot, and if I wasn’t paying attention my mouth would stay open too, so it was a pretty severe? protruding mouth. But after orthodontic treatment, my side profile looks prettier, and I like that I no longer have to consciously put force into my mouth haha One thing that’s a liiittle disappointing is that my lips got thinner. But I can just get filler for that, so I’m not too worried. I’m very satisfied with my orthodontic treatment.
