I had 50% of my hump nose refined, and only non-implant nasal tip surgery using septal cartilage. I did not have osteotomy separately, so the swelling is not severe and there is only slight bruising. Because it is implant-free, it definitely looks natural. My face is on the flat and broad side, so they said it would be better not to do osteotomy, so I did not do it. Before sleep anesthesia, in case there was concern that oxygen saturation might drop, they were going to put an airway in my mouth, but it was uncomfortable for me, so I breathed through my mouth while the surgery was carried out. (It seems they put safety as the top priority.) They use midazolam to put you to sleep briefly, then perform local anesthesia. After that, they wake the sleeping person and proceed with the surgery. They tell you it may be a little uncomfortable when harvesting septal cartilage, and then harvest it. In the middle of the surgery, they give a swelling injection, say this is what the nose will be like after 3 months, and check how the line looks. After that, they proceed by covering the surgical area. —> I like that there is no need to worry about a shadow doctor.
They put cotton inside the nose and insert a drain inside the nasal cavity (described as a straw inside the nose). They said it is inserted to make blood drainage easier. The drain is removed the day after surgery, and the cotton inside the nose is removed on day two.
