It has been 10 months since I had minimal-incision internal nasal alar reduction and columella improvement. The result is that I am suffering from side effects due to an overly excessive alar reduction and a columella improvement surgery that did not need to be done. After consulting at other hospitals, I was told that alar reduction involving excision of tissue cannot even be reconstructed. At the surgical hospital, until about 6 months after surgery, they dealt with it by saying it was scar tissue, but even after enough time passed and there was no symptom relief, the hospital said they did not know the cause.. and told me to look into the Korean Medical Association’s medical compensation mutual aid. In the end, I am in a very unfavorable situation where I have to go around from hospital to hospital alone.. They really have no sense of responsibility... Who is going to compensate me for the rest of my life? If they had only slightly corrected the alar base, which was my original complex, there would have been no problem. But because of the hospital’s recommendation (they said it would be four things at once as a three-dimensional type: columella improvement, alar curvature correction, and alar drooping improvement), I had surgery. Who would get surgery if it meant ending up with this kind of impairment... I feel so wronged... From the moment I open my eyes in the morning until I fall asleep, it is uncomfortable.. My nose feels as if it has been pinched and fixed in place, with no elasticity at all, just pulling and pressure... I sigh... This is not something where I suffer for one year and then it ends. It lasts for life.. Other hospitals also say there is no possibility of reconstruction..ㅠㅠ How am I supposed to live the rest of my life? I feel wronged.. Alar reduction that cuts out tissue is not a simple surgery.. You need to be extremely, extremely cautious.. If there is any hospital that can help me, please recommend it and give me advice. I really want to turn back time ㅠㅠ
Additional note) After alar reduction, if anyone has experienced even slight relief from side effects such as persistent pressure sensation (pressure so severe it feels almost like pain), tightening, a shriveling sensation inside the nose, severe pulling, and so on, please share hospital information. I am waiting for a threadlike hope.. Today is the last day of this year.. In about one more month, it will be one year since surgery.. Even though I keep searching internet cafes and so on, it is hard to find posts saying that this type of side effect improved even a little.. I want to find hope.. Please share any information that could help, even just a little.. If there is a way, even if it creates more scars, I want to take some of my own flesh from elsewhere and attach it, if it can make even the pressure sensation go away just a little. As time passes, instead of getting better, it feels like it is pulling more, and I really cannot stand it..ㅠㅠ
