(Introduction)
If you look at my profile post history, you’ll know, but it has been about 1 year since I had plastic surgery, and before getting surgery I did quite a lot of research in a community and then had the procedure!
For those worried about brokers, if you go through my profile link and look a bit at the comments I left or the posts I wrote, it seems you can distinguish things to some extent!
I’m originally the type who doesn’t really write posts and finds it bothersome, but as I did, I know how much other people think and worry about plastic surgery, and I also received a lot of help here, so I ended up writing this post!
(Main Part)
I had hooked nose and bulbous nose correction surgery at ㅇㅈ Plastic Surgery in Apgujeong! (Hooked nose osteotomy, 0.2 mm silicone, and for the bulbous nose, what was it, cartilage tying?, and septal cartilage was used.)
It was done under sedation anesthesia, and I was extremely nervous when being anesthetized.. What if I wake up in the middle, what if I don’t wake up... I think I was really nervousㅠㅠ In the end I did wake up during anesthesia, but it really felt like dreaming. It didn’t hurt at all and I think I felt kind of good.. I said a lot of nonsense and even talked to the director who was operating, and at that time I was really into Instagram, so I even asked the director if he used Instagram.. The director kindly answered me and respondedㅜ I’m sorry for how horrifying that must have been.. Then I fell asleep again!
When I woke up after the surgery was all finished, I felt dazed! It didn’t hurt, and I had no strength! I lay down for about an hour and then was discharged! (I’m from out of town, so my mother went with me. I had originally planned to take the bus back and forth alone, but that was a huge mistake.. If my mother hadn’t been there, it would have been really hardㅠㅜ)
After I got home, I made sure to take all the medication they gave me, piled pillows up like a mountain, and tried to sleep almost sitting up, but I woke up at dawn and almost died from the pain... I definitely took painkillers, but it was throbbing so much ㅠㅠㅠ It wasn’t stinging or anything, but throbbing pain..? I thought my nose was going to burst ㅠㅠ I even cried, and I regretted it a bit then... I felt sorry to my mother for no reason.. In the end I took one more painkiller and forced myself to sleep ㅠㅠ.... From the next day, it wasn’t painful, but because of the cotton, my nose was very blocked.. They say bleeding usually stops after two or three days, but for me, I think it didn’t stop for about 6 days ㅠㅠ.. It wasn’t flowing out, but enough that I could feel a little blood flowing inside..? So I searched a community a ton and asked the hospital tons of questions ㅠㅠ Each time, the hospital answered kindly! But if you’re in that situation, you’ll know, somehow I couldn’t trust the hospital either, so I left tons of questions in the community... (Director, consultant, and staff, I’m sorry...ㅠ...ㅠ..) If you look at the posts I left, you’ll know, but every little thing bothered me and seemed like a side effect... But later on, it really all got better!
Because I had an osteotomy, I wore a splint for about 2 weeks! I was really nervous that it would hurt when removing the cotton, but taking the cotton out really didn’t hurt. It was just slightly uncomfortable..? But after removing the cotton, disinfecting was really, really, really uncomfortable and slightly stinging ㅠㅠ.... When I watch dramas, I can’t even look at blood and lose strength, but they were touching the places with stitches in my nose with disinfecting cotton, so I was sweating so much, and it felt even more stinging for no reason. It was so uncomfortable.. I’m writing this one year later, and even thinking about it makes me lose strength and feel uncomfortable, so I’ll move on quickly!
After I took off the splint and came out feeling refreshed, I looked at my nose with the selfie camera, and the hooked nose really seemed to have improved a lot, but the bulbous nose was, hmm... I couldn’t tell. It seemed the same... Since my nasal bridge was already on the high side, I thought improving the bulbous nose might be a bit difficult, but I also wondered if this was too little improvement..ㅠ Still, it was better than before, so I thought it was swelling and lived with it!
I couldn’t blow my nose, couldn’t pick my nose, and because silicone was put in my nose, it felt like something was there.. It was uncomfortable ㅠㅠㅠ I really went through a lot..
(Result)
I wrote the earlier part too long and detailed, so in case it’s boring, I’ll skip ahead and tell you the result!
Right now I am very, very, very, very extremely satisfied. People around me all compliment me, saying my nose is so pretty and it turned out so well, and that it became really naturally pretty! Honestly, I wish the bulbous nose had become a little more completely slim.. But still, considering I had a high nose, I think it reduced a lot! When I compare the before and after photos, before I really looked just like Pat and Mat...
Now I can blow my nose very freely (but is it okay to blow my nose this strongly, hehe..?) And I think I can pick my nose to some extent with my pinky finger.. (sorry)
Anyway... now I’m living very satisfied! Since it has been a year, I don’t really remember the other small concerns well... If you have any questions, please leave a comment or send me a message! I’ll try to answer everything!
Since I received a lot of help too, I should give back!
Lastly... Director ㅇㅈ, whom people around me call my second father... thank you!
