Hello, it’s been 5 months since I had an early removal after 3 weeks because of anxiety. My nose has gradually become softer, and a lot of the discomfort in daily life has disappeared, so I was managing to live without thinking about it much. But these days, whenever I lie down to sleep, at certain angles I feel pressure? a heavy feeling? in my nose, and when I lie on my side, it feels like my nose shifts to one side. If I lie on my right side it leans to the right, and if I lie on my left side it leans to the left.. But if I lie straight on my back, I feel heaviness in my nose. It’s not like I have a big nose like a Westerner, so how can my nose shift just because I changed direction a little.. I feel like this is all because the septal cartilage was taken, and it’s stressing me out so, so much. I should have pleaded from the beginning during surgery to use only ear cartilage… Every night, I’m overwhelmed by frustration and anxiety over the thought that because of my wrong choice, I have to live in this body for the rest of my life. Still, my mind is more at ease than before the removal, so I don’t regret the removal, but I really regret having the surgery itself. Has anyone ever experienced the same sensation as me? When I search online, it says that even if septal cartilage is harvested, the perichondrium, skin, and things like that remain, and the important outer framework is left intact, so there are no functional problems at all, but I can’t even trust that. Will it get better as more time passes and it heals further…ㅠㅠ Please tell me about your own experiences……
