There was no separate consultation fee, and after waiting I had a CT scan, then waited again and consulted with the coordinator. She looked at the CT and said I had a deviated septum and rhinitis and recommended functional nose surgery. I wasn’t planning on functional nose surgery, and another hospital had said it wasn’t necessary. After meeting the director, the consultation was quick. I was explaining my previous rhinoplasty method, and he cut me off saying it wasn’t necessary, as if without autologous costal cartilage my nose wouldn’t turn out properly. He strongly recommended autologous costal cartilage.
