Since people might be curious, I'll start with the conclusion: I'm completely satisfied. Not an ad. Not a part-timer. I absolutely hate brokers. This is a real review (even if it's long, those who want to read it can read it, and I'll speak casually)
First, before surgery, my eyes looked totally sleepy + the incision on the right had loosened + the right eye ptosis correction hadn't been done (the first clinic said they did it and took my money) + my eyes looked stuffy like small, closed-looking eyes.
The eyes I wanted: first, correction so the pupils would show well when my eyes are open. Make them look more open with lateral lower canthoplasty. The epicanthoplasty had also been done badly, so an in-out line was impossible. Make it naturally into an out-fold.
I live outside Seoul, so I don't know how many times I went back and forth to Seoul; I spent a ton just on transportation. So I went to a lot of consultations, and I liked this place the most, and the price wasn't bad either. Since it was revision surgery, did I set my expected budget too high..? Anyway. They said they would take good care of me after surgery too, so I booked it.
I was extremely worried when getting surgery. It was my 3rd revision, so what if it went wrong? Would I have to get surgery again? I wanted to stop putting a blade to my eyes. I had so many worries, and since I was also getting lateral lower canthoplasty, I was even more worried.
From right after surgery, I felt like it had gone well, and my eyes opened all the way properly, so it was comfortable. They originally said not to move around too much until the stitches were removed, but I wore a bucket hat and went around diligently. I drank pumpkin juice and did warm/cold compresses diligently too. Swelling management really seems to vary so much!!!! I'm the type who swells really, really easily, but I didn't swell as much as I expected, so that was good.
Oh, and they said conjunctival edema would happen if I got lateral lower canthoplasty, and sure enough, it did. Only on the left! It was a kind of discomfort I was experiencing for the first time, but I still felt very reassured. There was no bruising around the surgical area, no particular eye redness, and I thought, so this is why conjunctival edema is uncomfortable~
When I got the stitches removed a week later, the lateral lower canthoplasty area hurt really, incredibly badly. I wanted to have anesthesia and then get them removed. After they were removed, it became re~~~~ally comfortable. I applied the medication regularly, managed the swelling well, and although it was still a little swollen, I went back to work right away.
They said the double-eyelid incision area would keep changing for a few months after surgery and the lateral lower canthoplasty would fluctuate too, and it really is fluctuating. On days when it's quite swollen, you might wonder if the double eyelid went wrong, but it was all swelling, and I took lots of walks to help the swelling go down. It's been about 4 months since surgery now, and a lot of the swelling has gone down; only the fine swelling is gradually resolving. I really like the line, and my eyes became the way I wanted. I know people's eyes are naturally asymmetrical, but before the revision my eyes were an even bigger complex for me, so I'm living much more satisfied with my eyes now.
I came back to this community after a long time and saw there were a lot of comments, so I wrote this review! I'm living satisfied after the surgery, and the consultant and staff who counseled me were kind, so I really liked it. I guess there's a reason they're famous for revision surgery. I saw posts about side effects and there weren't many success cases, so I'm leaving this here.
