It has been 331 days as of today since the surgery.
The difference before and after surgery is obvious, right~~
The surgeries I received were medial epicanthoplasty restoration + revision lateral canthoplasty + correction of scleral show + revision double-eyelid surgery (creating a Mongolian fold and restoring the medial epicanthoplasty area, where there was no Mongolian fold and the lacrimal caruncle was visible, into a hook shape + V-line lateral canthoplasty for eyes that looked closed off, not a ㄷ-shape + lowering the double-eyelid line + correction of scleral show)
This is what I discussed with the clinic,
then I lay down on the operating table, and now it has been 6 months after surgery, almost 1 year.
As you can see in the photos, the post-op photos and the surgical result
are the result of surgery performed according to what I conveyed.
I communicated what I wanted to the operating director,
and the surgery was performed,
but the director said he made my eyes look better and more comfortable.
I cannot understand, either in my head or my heart,
the part where he injected his personal opinion.
As for symmetry, as you can see in the photos,
none of the operated areas
seem to be symmetrical.
The eye correction I did not even request was overcorrected,
so every day my eyes sting, tear up, and even make a dripping/clicking sound.
The redness in my eyes is always there, and the dryness has become worse,
to the point where it is hard to endure without eye drops.
It is a so-called plastic surgery clinic in the Gangnam/Nnonhyeon-dong area,
a hospital specializing in keloids and medial epicanthoplasty restoration,
and the operating director told me
that it was a surgery that made my eyes more comfortable and that it went well,
that they look much better...
I wonder if I am the one lacking understanding of that opinion.
I would appreciate advice from knowledgeable everyone,
and I ask for comments from those who are about to have surgery
or those who have surgical experience.
