They were kind and didn’t pressure me, which was nice. They said the lifting continues up to 1 month after the procedure and then lasts about 6 months to 1 year. They also advised that next time I get Ultherapy, it would be good to do 600 shots or more, starting from under the eyes.
Before the procedure, I took front and side photos on my phone in case it didn’t turn out well! I thought there would be a bit of a wait, but I only waited about 5 minutes and they applied the numbing cream right away, which was nice. As a man sitting in the hospital waiting room, I felt a bit awkward~
They applied a lot of cream-type numbing cream, so I asked if it hurt, and they said that among existing lifting devices, it is the strongest type, so I should expect some pain. About 15-20 minutes after application, I moved to the laser room and had the procedure.
The director came in and said it is also effective for a double chin, so she focused on the cheek-jaw and double-chin line. They started on the right side first, and surprisingly there wasn’t much pain, so it was okay. But when they did the left side, maybe because the anesthesia had worn off a bit, there was a zapping kind of pain.
The female head director performed the procedure, and I liked that she explained each area. She said my face had asymmetric sagging and did a little more on the left side, which made me feel it wasn’t like a factory-style treatment, so that was good! Rather than the cheek area, when they did the double-chin area, it really felt like an earthworm was going into my skin! Wriggle~ wriggle.... that kind of feeling!
On the right side, she adjusted the number of shots while applying something like a cold cream, and it wasn’t the feeling of “this hurts so much..” but that doesn’t mean it didn’t hurt. haha
After the procedure ended, I looked in the mirror and took a photo in the elevator going down from the hospital. Even though they said it would gradually lift over 1 to 2 months, I liked that I felt an immediate effect. By day 6, my facial line felt sharper, people at work asked if I had lost weight, and I kept feeling a tingling sensation on both cheeks and under my jaw. When I asked a friend, they said it meant the effect was continuing, so I was satisfied!
After about 2 weeks had passed, my satisfaction is 100%. I heard Ultherapy was good, but I didn’t know the effect would come out like this. Honestly, it was so fascinating that the lifting happened over time. The Liftera and Shurink I had before gave an instant effect, so I thought, “wow, this is nice,” but with Ultherapy, as time passes, it makes me go “wow...” in amazement.
So I think that’s why everyone kept saying Ultherapy~ Ultherapy.. I’m really satisfied.
Next time, I definitely think I should include not only the lower face but also the upper area, with 600 shots or more! If more effects show, I’ll add another review later and bring it back!
