It's been 2 years since I had LASEK, and when I first had LASEK, I deliberately went without sleeping so I could sleep deeply afterward, but when I actually came out after the procedure, I had to put in eye drops at set times. If anyone is thinking like I did, get plenty of sleep before you go,,,, There was quite a bit of pain, but even if I went back to that time, I think I would still get LASEK. It hurts to have to give up contact lenses, but I don't really remember what it was like when my eyesight was bad. Before LASEK, my vision wasn't exact, but it was around 0.5 in both eyes or lower, and I had an eye exam yesterday and it's being maintained well at 1.2/1.5!! I do have some dry eye, but when I wake up in the morning, if I put in just one drop of artificial tears, it seems to get better.
