It was such a long time ago... But because it has been so long, I thought a review from about 10 years later might be useful information to someone, so I’m writing this. Back in my 20s, I wore glasses to the sauna (bathhouse mates with my mom), and whenever I wore glasses my friends would scold me so much, saying I needed to throw them away, so I suddenly made up my mind and had it done... I remember the price back then being about 1.8 million? around 2 million won.. (cash price) I went alone... had the surgery alone, grabbed a taxi alone, even took a bus and came home. Oh, my youth.. I miss it. They applied a lot of eye ointment, so it was blurry.. but I could see what I needed to see, so somehow I crossed streets.. caught a taxi... and I remember taking an express bus. I think I had to keep my eyes closed all day... so it was extremely boring, but also exciting, and I kept my eyes closed. On day two? when I was allowed to open my eyes, the feeling I had that day when I opened them still comes to mind.. Was this what Sim Bong-sa felt like? The surgery was so scary. Without anesthesia.. They told me to hug a doll, and the nurse held my hand too. They were very kind, but the doctor told me not to move my eyeballs.... even though I wasn’t moving them, they said they were moving.. so terrifying... They told me to focus...;;; my eyeballs that wouldn’t do what I wanted.. The actual procedure time really didn’t even take 10 seconds... Anyway, the reason I chose this hospital was... all ophthalmologists wear glasses, but this hospital’s doctor didn’t wear glasses and had apparently received LASEK or some procedure, which gave me trust. What I remember from back then is celebrity Jo Kwon... had something done at this hospital, so I think I felt trust and decided on it. I still remember it What was disappointing was that after LASEK I couldn’t(?) wear contact lenses, so I could no longer wear the Acuvue colored lenses I used to wear? Contact lenses... really do look pretty in photos.. Anyway, even if I went back, this is a surgery I would absolutely do.. eyeball surgery.. highly recommend
