Because I had high myopia, my glasses always had to be compressed at least 3 times, and just the lens price was 300,000 won each time, which was so stressful that I decided to have surgery. There was an affiliated event with my school, so I chose this place. My eyes were only eligible for LASEK, so I paid a total of 1.6 million won for LASEK + autologous serum (school affiliated event price).
1. Factory-style clinic It was obviously a factory-style clinic, so I was worried even before going, but they actually did all kinds of tests (of course lol) and explained things well. More than anything, you should be careful with surgery on your own face, but I was in my early 20s and had no money at the time, so I just decided to do it here at the affiliated price.
2. Pain There wasn't any. I normally never wear colored lenses or contact lenses, so I think my corneas may have been on the healthier side. There was nothing at all until day 2, then on day 3 I understood what people meant by saying it feels like grinding onions and putting them on your eyes while scraping them with a knife.. lol But it was only like that for exactly one day, and then I was fine, so from day 5 I used my phone a bit hehe,,,
3. Aftercare They reliably reminded me to come in to remove the protective lenses, and the removal didn't hurt. I followed the precautions well, kept using disposable eye drops, and there was that thing they sell at pharmacies, I think Japanese eye drops.. the one with vitamins and stuff. I put that in consistently.
4. Current condition Honestly, I do think it has gotten a bit worse. To be honest, I used my phone with the lights off, and I already had dryness, but after the pain disappeared I didn't use eye drops very well. Still, I'm maintaining over 1.0, so as someone who had high myopia, I'm satisfied!!
