I had surgery yesterday and went back to the hospital today~ As soon as I got there, they gave me a swelling shot in the butt and an antibiotic injection in the arm. They said it might smell, but how am I supposed to smell anything when my nose is blocked lol Anyway, after that they took off the nasal bandage and tape they had put on yesterday, and suddenly said, “We’ll take out the cotton now~” and pulled it out in one swoop. I was startled for a moment, but it wasn’t as painful as everyone says. The thing that hurt more was wiping the blood inside my nostrils with cotton swabs. They also seemed to be cutting the stitches little by little. They put a sticker on the columella, removed everything for a moment, and showed me the shape of my nose.
I really did say I wanted it to look natural, but it’s seriously too natural... I had my nasal tip done with septal cartilage and ear cartilage, plus 2 mm silicone, right? But it really does look truly natural... It’s good, but... I also feel like maybe I should have been a little greedier.. Will it get a bit slimmer once the swelling goes down???
During the consultation, when I asked about aftercare and things like that, the counselor said something like, “Everything is handled by the director, so that’s better.” But unlike that, first the nurse removed the cotton and everything, did the disinfecting? injections? all of that, and later the director came by, checked the shape, did the taping, and left. That part felt a little odd, but whatever, hmm.
Now I can breathe through my nose, ha. I can smell things too, so I feel like I have the energy to eat. Ah, but I need to go on a diet..
