ㅇㅇㄷ Not a plastic surgery clinic, but oral and maxillofacial surgery? They have a really, really huge number of cases, but the doctor drew the line and was like, well... pulling it out about this much should do, and the consultation ended. There was no communication at all. But a lot of people had it done there, and the doctor seemed skilled. The consultant was nice!
ㅌㅋ A place that shows before-and-after photos with Photoshop! I liked that they showed the one-procedure result realistically, and they said they would do a wide osteotomy without reducing the body volume, so I liked that they addressed the body-volume part I was most worried about! But they also said they would slightly shave with cortical osteotomy, and since my chin is small for a man and the horizontal width is narrow, making my face look long, I was a bit puzzled about slightly shaving the cortical bone. It felt a bit like, rather than a design tailored to me, is this just how they do all receding-chin surgeries?? + I'm going to do the surgery this way, yeah. It felt like communication was a bit lacking! The consultant was nice!
ㄴㅌ The place where communication was the best and the one I went to with the highest expectations! There was a 1-hour wait. The building was really grand. The director was completely the careful and meticulous type. I liked that he touched my facial bones a lot and thought deeply about it. He explained that my chin isn't just short, but is a receding chin that curls inward and is set back, so it needs to be lifted upward while also advanced forward in direction. For areas like body volume too, he said he would do a wide osteotomy, and he answered all my questions so well that I was touched.. But when I said my concern was that my face looks long, he suggested reducing the length of the lower chin. But since my chin is on the short side, wouldn't that make the proportions look collapsed? When I asked, he said that, to him, overall face length > proportions looks better, so I'm really worried about this part I regret not asking how much it would need to be reduced..
I feel like I went to a lot of places, but my head just got more complicated, so I'm thinking of going to ㅅㅅㅇ and ㅂㄷ. They get mentioned here a lot, whether it's promotion or whatever, so for now I'm going to at least go for consultations. I was going to go to ㅁㅇㄷㅇ for a consultation last year, but canceled it, and this time I tried to rebook, but the consultant was really... I won't say more.. So I just didn't go! If there are any hospitals good at chin advancement, please recommend more
