I had watched a few YouTube videos beforehand, and the doctor was exactly like how he seemed in the videos He had a soft, calm way of speaking and was the kind type
Looking at my CT images, he first explained my bones and facial structure, then told me what surgeries would be needed He also examined my actual face from different angles and looked at which areas among the cheekbones, square jaw, and chin tip should be operated on first When I asked how much it could be reduced, he told me in terms like a few millimeters for the cheekbones I heard this place is famous for cheekbone surgery, and maybe because of that, he seemed especially confident about cheekbone surgery (intraoral incision + sideburn incision) And when looking at my facial proportions, he said that if the square jaw and chin tip were made too slim and pointy, the lower face could look narrow and petty, so he recommended refining everything naturally overall He asked if there was any specific area I wanted or if I had brought any photos, so I showed him, and although he tried to reflect my needs, he honestly told me when something was not right or difficult, which I actually liked
The manager went over the doctor’s consultation content once and explained things like aftercare She didn’t try to be commercial about it, and since it’s a major surgery, she recommended not thinking too hastily and deciding after considering the recovery period and the date I could return to work She gave me a business card and said if I had more questions, I could ask the doctor via KakaoTalk She said I could do that after just the consultation or even after surgery, but explained that when he’s busy, a quick reply may be difficult
I did go to other hospitals besides this one, but this was the place I was most drawn to, so I’m thinking about going through with surgery
