After<one-week post-op photo>Before<pre-op photo>After<post-op day 5 photo>A person I know had short nose surgery 5 years ago, and seeing that their natural-looking nose shape has stayed well maintained until now, I had more or less decided on it, but each hospital’s director has such a different style that I did look around at other hospitals before setting a date. The person I know who had surgery was like that too, and when I saw before-and-after photos, I thought it was naturally the shape I wanted, so I finally decided. I had surgery for a short nose together with rhinitis through a cooperative treatment approach. There was some bleeding on the day of surgery, so I was worried, but at one week, this level means there basically isn’t much swelling, right? I understand they used 3 mm for the nasal bridge, and septal cartilage and ear cartilage for the nasal tip. If you look at the pre-op photo, the positions of the alar base and columella are a bit different. The columella looked very retracted, so it made the nose look even shorter. When I removed the splint and saw the shape, the columella was out, and I could see the difference. Looking at other reviews, they said the nasal tip looks upturned at first, so I was prepared for that to some extent, but my pre-op nose looks more upturned? Thinking that it will come down a little more from here, I already like it! These are the pre-op and current photos, and the nasal bridge and height are good right now... How much more will the swelling go down from here?
