I came in for a consultation about removing a protruding implant inside my nose. I have had nose surgery three times, and I currently have Medpor + silicone + ear cartilage + septal cartilage, with chronic inflammation causing contracture. They said to remove all the contaminated implants and take ear cartilage from the nose tip to bring it down, and after touching the columella they said it seemed like the septal cartilage wasn’t being used and only Medpor was there. They said maybe in the third surgery they tried to reuse the septal cartilage but it was too small, so Medpor seems to have been inserted. The consultation was short, and since I had already consulted at several hospitals, I didn’t ask any further questions about what I already knew. The surgery method was the same as the hospital I had finally been considering, and the surgery fee there was very expensive, so this place was a little cheaper, and I booked and had the surgery right away. I still have nasal packing and a splint on, and the swelling is huge, so I’ll post a review after the surgery later.
