I went for a consultation about removal because the implant in my nose had protruded a little. I have had nose surgery three times, and I have Medpor + silicone + ear cartilage + septal cartilage, and I am in a state where chronic inflammation has caused contracture. They said they would remove all the contaminated implants and take ear cartilage to lower the nasal tip, and after feeling my columella they said it seemed like only Medpor was there and they would not use the septal cartilage. They said they probably tried to reuse the septal cartilage in the third surgery, but it was too small, so it seems Medpor was left in. The consultation was short, and since I had already consulted at several hospitals, I did not ask any more about what I already knew. The surgery method was the same as the hospital I was ultimately considering, and the cost of surgery was very high, so this place was a little cheaper than there, so I booked right away and had the surgery. I still have nasal packing and a splint on, and the swelling is really bad, so I will post a surgery review later.
