[Before surgery] I had high myopia, R -7.8 L -6.5, and a little astigmatism. I had heard that if your eyesight is too bad, SMILE LASIK is difficult, so I was really worried, but my corneal thickness was very thick in both eyes, so I was judged eligible for surgery!
Instead, they said I had to do corneal strengthening? so I got SMILE LASIK + strengthening treatment too.
[After surgery] It’s been about 1 year and 2 weeks, and I’m living fine. But because my eyesight was so bad to begin with, even after surgery my right eye is 0.8~0.9. The glare/halos are severe, but I escaped being a glasses-wearer, so I’m just satisfied.
