I had -2.0 and -1.5 vision in both eyes, plus astigmatism, so instead of LASIK, which I heard can have side effects, I went ahead with LASEK because it can be performed multiple times. It has now been 2 years, but my vision is still maintained at 1.0 and 1.2 in both eyes. For those who are considering LASIK or LASEK, I hope you get it done as soon as possible and find the light... Of course, your eyes may not be eligible for LASIK.... but it is so great!!
