I had SMILE LASIK about 40 days ago. The consultation was kind, and there was CCTV in the operating room, so guardians can see the status of the patient's surgery from the treatment waiting room. I don't know whether other hospitals have this system too, but it was my first time seeing something like that, so it was really fascinating and made me feel a bit more reassured. SMILE LASIK is known as something people do for a quick return to daily life, but I heard that in some cases recovery can take close to a week. Unfortunately, I was one of those cases, and after a week my vision became 1.0. It felt like I was seeing at around 0.3 for about a week. When I went for a follow-up, they said the surgery had gone very well, so I felt relieved, and now, about 40 days later, my vision has improved even more, so I'm very satisfied.
