Whew, after having my first rhinoplasty 6-7 years ago at a hospital whose name I don’t even remember, I had revision rhinoplasty 3 years ago, and then another revision rhinoplasty 1 year ago using autologous costal cartilage, but the result was... really bad. The side profile of my nose was honestly so okay, but from the front, my nostrils were asymmetric and my nose was crooked, so I ended up having yet another revision rhinoplasty. I had my 4th nose surgery at D-Day Plastic Surgery. From the consultation, Director Choo said making the nose perfectly symmetrical would be difficult, so I didn’t have huge expectations and just hoped it would be aligned to some extent. Now it’s not perfect, but it’s almost symmetrical and the crooked feeling is gone. They said they would reuse my autologous costal cartilage, and they also added donated costal cartilage. My 3rd revision rhinoplasty cost 7 million won, but maybe because this time I didn’t use autologous costal cartilage and used donated costal cartilage, the cost was much lower. It’s now been 3 months since my nose surgery, and after this much time has passed, I’m satisfied so far. Still, I think I need to watch it for another 1-2 years, so I’m not feeling completely relieved. I really hope my nose stays well this time without any issues.
