10 years ago, I had only silicone placed in my nasal bridge, and until now I had no inflammation or other problems, but recently my nasal bridge has started bruising bluish.. It has been continuing for over 2 weeks. It is okay in the morning, but in the evening the bruising slowly comes up again.. I went to the hospital and had a CT scan, but they said it is not inflammation or a hematoma, so they said to just watch it, but there is no sign of improvement, so it is frustrating... After getting a consultation, they said it may be bleeding because of friction between the nasal bone and the silicone? and that even if I replace the silicone, bruising could happen again.. They said if I want silicone placed again, I can have it removed, wait until the bruising fully heals, and replace it after 3 to 6 months. Has anyone had symptoms like mine, where the nasal bridge bruises..? There do not seem to be many reviews about symptoms where there is only bruising on the nasal bridge without inflammation..
