Hello! This time it’s my first nose surgery! I visited 5 clinics over just 2 days of scouting
I’m still struggling so much over where to do it, so please look at this and tell me your thoughts—I’m seriously going crazy.. Send price inquiries by private comment!!! I’ll tell you everything!! First, to describe my nose: it’s low, small, short, and has a slightly bulbous-tip feel! My skin is on the thin side, so there’s a very slight shadow at the tip, giving a pinched-nose look! It’s not an ugly pinched nose though.
The first place I went to ㅇㅂ The manager was very kind.. I think I got lucky. They asked about the line I want and the direction I’m aiming for, and I explained while even showing photos! They said the photos I brought seemed well-suited to my nose! The surgeon came right in and we had a consultation. They said they would use 3.5 to 4 mm of silicone for the bridge, and if they used more than that, the silicone might show because my skin is thin.. They mentioned using septal cartilage, bulbous-tip correction, and improving the pinched tip, but they didn’t mention ear cartilage or rib cartilage at all. On CT, they said that compared with how small my nose is, my septal material looked fairly large, so surgery could be done smoothly with septal cartilage alone! The estimate was honestly the cheapest by far, to the point of being surprising even though it’s my first surgery..? But aside from the price, there wasn’t much appeal in the consultation.. There was no deposit pressure at all, and there was no consultation fee or CT fee either! ㅈㄷ Wow, I really, really liked this place! Maybe because it was a hospital I already liked from the start.. it felt like they didn’t disappoint the expectations I had?? There was quite a natural deposit pressure here.. They also said if I didn’t pay today I couldn’t get this price, so I ended up putting down 10, haha.. But I liked it that much!!
It wasn’t a hospital that was especially famous compared with its skill, so in terms of price it was the second cheapest after Urban!!! The manager seemed to have a higher level of plastic-surgery knowledge than other places, and the consultation was as detailed and thorough as the surgeon’s! Even when taking photos, they were meticulous and adjusted the angle carefully while shooting.. During the consultation, as soon as I went in, they asked me to explain my needs and direction in detail, and they listened to my needs very carefully and thoroughly! I liked that they were delicate and not annoyed at all! Since there was no wait, I went straight into the surgeon consultation, and they explained in great detail while shaping it using the photo they took of me at ㅇㄴ핏, and the surgeon also listened to my needs carefully and reflected them a lot! It matched my aesthetic standards well too! Here, they said my septal cartilage is large, so I shouldn’t remove too much of it, and that I would need to use ear cartilage as well! They mentioned bulbous-tip correction, septal cartilage, ear cartilage, silicone 4 to 4.5 mm. What ㅇㅂ said about possible show-through bothered me.. The surgeon felt my nose and said there is a slight hump, so it would look prettier to shave it down and then add volume. They said the basic AS period is 1 year, but that for people who have surgery at their hospital, they try to take care of them through the end as much as possible, so I felt a lot of trust in this place.. ㅇㅂㅅ I didn’t like the consultation manager here.. They were kind, but as soon as I said the expected price, they looked dumbfounded. I was so upset, everyone.. The manager consultation was just okay, so I’ll just talk about the surgeon consultation. Um.. This was the first place that mentioned donated rib cartilage for the bridge.. Of course, they also said the chance of using donated rib cartilage is low, and that because they would need to open the nose to see whether my septal cartilage is strong, the CT didn’t show any issues, so the chance of using donated rib cartilage was 5%. They said if donated rib cartilage isn’t used, they would only use septal cartilage and ear cartilage. I explained that my aesthetic standard is a witch nose, and a tip that isn’t too straight and angular, but is refined and natural.. something like a tip that’s a little upturned?? But not so much that the nostrils are too visible from the front and not looking overly turned up.. They said that to satisfy my aesthetic standard, they’d need to lower the columella, and that they would use septal cartilage, ear cartilage or donated rib cartilage, and silicone around 3.5 to 4 mm. They seemed a bit busy, but the surgeon was still trying to look carefully despite being busy. There was no deposit pressure at all! ㅍㄹㅁㅇ I went in for a consultation here, but the wait was so, so, so, so long that while I was waiting and waiting, if I got delayed here, I’d also be late for ㅂㄴㄴ and ㅊㅇ after it, so I just gave up on the consultation and left.. ㅂㄴㄴ I was surprised that they didn’t do a CT first. Maybe because the other places were so kind, I didn’t feel the manager’s kindness very strongly.. I was the only waiting customer, but even the manager consultation took a while, and there weren’t any big advantages, so I’ll go straight to the surgeon consultation here too! First of all, the surgeon and I had very similar aesthetic standards, which I liked! That diagonal nose where the tip is slightly lifted from the side, not a straight-right-angle nose!! The surgeon also said they think that kind of nose is pretty, so I liked that!! They didn’t tell me how many mm of silicone would be used, so I asked, and they said from experience it would probably be around 3.5 mm. They also said donated rib cartilage might be used here too.. I went for a consultation because I liked the line from a Gangnam Unni review, but nothing really struck me.. If donated rib cartilage gets used, the estimate was the most expensive.. If not, it was the third cheapest place.. ㅊㅇ First of all, the interior atmosphere was pretty like an Instagram cafe.. Maybe because I went around 5 o’clock, there were no waiting customers at all. When I had the CT taken, they put something on my neck and body? They said there could be radiation exposure.. It was my first time at a hospital like that! I had to wait 40 minutes for the manager.. But it was an extremely long, detailed, and kind consultation! I had booked a free consultation through Naver, and maybe because of that, when they took photos with a headband on, they only took exactly two shots.. There were many numbers like at other plastic surgery clinics.. The manager was also detailed, precise, and honest, which I liked, and they said even the husband of the manager’s friend is going into surgery right now! But the manager and surgeon were different from me,, This was the place where the manager and surgeon consultations took the longest! They were not annoyed at all, and the surgeon even shined a flashlight while examining my septal cartilage! They recommended autologous rib cartilage, but said that for the line and height I want, autologous rib cartilage probably isn’t really necessary. And the surgeon showed me many photos of cases similar to mine, so it was very easy to understand, and maybe it’s only here, or maybe even if I go elsewhere I won’t get that kind of result, but for a low nose like mine, 4 mm didn’t make it dramatically higher, so I liked that!! They said my pinched tip is not an ugly pinched nose, but an attractive nose, so it would actually look prettier not to correct the pinched tip! Compared with other places, they paid special attention to the nasolabial angle too, so it seemed like they were thinking a lot about facial harmony, which I liked I was worried a lot about the nasolabial angle because my mouth looked slightly protruded, but they caught it, so I was glad.. Here, silicone around 4 mm! I decided to use septal cartilage and ear cartilage! Did they not mention bulbous tip..? I can’t remember, so I’m going to call later.. Sigh.. I’m tired..
