Hehe, this is a review 1 month after my first rhinoplasty as a man in my mid-20s~
Hello~ It has been about a month since my surgery. Previously, I had three complexes: a thin, upturned nasal tip, wide nostrils, and a low hump nose. After a long period of consideration, I decided to have surgery, and after doing online research for several months and visiting about 5 clinics in person, I had surgery with Director Kim Da-alm at Obliv Plastic Surgery.
For reference, I have a fairly meticulous personality, and rather than just vaguely hearing nice things, I prefer facts with grounds. So I decided to visit at least 5 places, and as I went for consultations, I felt things like: ex) this place is trying to rush through the consultation roughly / they just keep adding surgical items without detailed explanation (each one costs money) / the consultant’s tone feels dismissive and sarcastic / I waited for an hour and a half past my appointment time / etc. But at Obliv, everything proceeded exactly on time, and what I liked from the consultant onward was that usually they talk a lot mainly about price, but here it felt like a comfortable chat? I could ask everything I wanted, whether I knew it or not, so I liked the consultant from the start. And Director Kim Da-alm had such good reviews from the beginning that I had my consultation thinking, “Really..?” But as expected.. He explained not only the appearance but also the functional aspects thoroughly, why this area should be done this way and why it should not be done that way, and he paid attention to each thing and looked at everything in really great detail. Instinctively, I felt that he was an even more meticulous doctor than I am. Finally, he also gave me a refreshingly blunt fact-check, saying that going to too many consultations is not necessarily that good, so it would be better to pause for a bit, look at my own nose, and decide specifically on a clear shape standard! After hearing that one comment, I trusted him even more.
A clinic with one director, guardian viewing available via CCTV, a fixed number of surgeries per day, and what I liked most was the customized silicone. This No-Fit system makes customized silicone in advance based on my own CT scan, and I really liked that it is precisely made to fit my face. Rather than being a clinic that unconditionally produces flashy and similar-looking results, I think I got a satisfying result through design that truly fit each individual and through an in-depth, detailed consultation. Thank you, Director.
