Before <before surgery> After <1 month after surgery> After <2 months after surgery> It’s been two months since I had nose surgery (no implant + septal cartilage + ear cartilage + short nose) with Dr. Lee Kyung-mook! (Almost three months now haha) The difficult time right after surgery has passed, and now I’m very satisfied!
Originally, I had a short, small nose with a slight hump, and I went to about eight places for consultations. Every clinic said they would shave down the hump and that I absolutely had to use rib cartilage. I was very scared of nose surgery, and honestly I really didn’t want to use rib cartilage, so I was debating whether to have surgery at all. Then I met Dr. Mook, and as soon as we had the consultation, he said he wouldn’t shave the hump and that it could be done with ear cartilage! He also said I probably wouldn’t need silicone, so I trusted him and went ahead. I did keep debating about silicone until the day of surgery.. but right before surgery, he confidently told me we shouldn’t use it, so I didn’t, and in the end, everyone around me says it was really good that I didn’t use it haha
After much thought, I had only the nasal tip done with ear cartilage without any implant, and since it’s implant-free, it doesn’t show a lot from the front, but the side profile definitely changed, and it looks more three-dimensional, so everyone around me says it turned out so well!@@
Even the pain right after surgery that was difficult at the time.. has all faded with time, so I’m really satisfied hahaha
