First double-eyelid surgery clinic-shopping review - 3. Gangnam (Sinnonhyeon) edition

~~I thought there were too many details that made it too identifiable, so I edited the post briefly~~

1. ㅅㅅ (private clinic) Non-incisional~because I don’t have much fat In-out~to do my preferred semi-out, I would need an upper canthoplasty. The previous 6 places hadn’t mentioned canthoplasty Ptosis correction needed~sleepy-looking eyes One week after surgery, if the upper canthoplasty stitches are not removed, no need After one month, progress check AS 1 year Non-incisional 100 / non-incisional + ptosis correction 150 / + upper canthoplasty 80 (VAT not included) >>>Since it was a private clinic specializing in eyes, I had some expectations, but for the first time among my consultations, the consultant also mapped out a line and recommended surgery Maybe because it was the first appointment slot, the wait wasn’t long; took about 30 minutes total Besides avoiding it because they recommended canthoplasty, I wasn’t drawn to it, so I passed

2. ㅁㅂ (ㅅㅇㅎ) Non-incisional~they said ptosis correction with non-incisional is meaningless; I had seen this in other people’s reviews too Semi and in-out both possible~they drew both lines for me No other additional procedures, so no need to visit except for progress checks Natural adhesion 132; if writing 3 reviews, 64.9 >>>There wasn’t much waiting, so it took less than 1 hour total Tied for 1st place in friendliness among my clinic-shopping list. They wrote down all the consultation details and let me take a photo. But the reason I didn’t choose them comes next...

3. ㅂㄴ (ㅂㅎㄱ) Non-incisional Recommended upper canthoplasty + ptosis correction~I showed a semi, but they thought of it as an out; when I said it’s fine as long as the inner front part doesn’t stick together, anyway, to do a semi, upper canthoplasty is essential (for me). If I don’t open it, they said it would be inline (to my eyes, it’s in-out) AS 1 year Natural adhesion 39, ptosis correction 69, upper canthoplasty 50~there was some condition, but I don’t remember. They originally said the promotion doesn’t apply because it’s the chief director, but they applied it. They also cut down the total price a lot, but I don’t remember the conditions or details, so I won’t write them >>>The wait was seriously crazy long. About 50 minutes until seeing the director. But the info desk had direct sunlight, so it was so hot. In the brutal wait, my trust in the clinic dropped The consultant was a bit all over the place like other reviews said, but there was no forced friendliness, and when I said I was going to more consultations, she even recommended/not recommended other clinics Anyway, she told me the most important thing: non-incisional ptosis correction and upper canthoplasty are relatively recent trend techniques in double-eyelid surgery, so usually older doctors don’t do them well (because they can’t). As soon as I heard that, I remembered that the director at No. 2 looked the oldest among all the doctors I consulted with! So I thought, that must be why, and passed on both No. 2 and No. 3 (My friend and I thought this: in Apgujeong, they didn’t even mention canthoplasty at all, but in Gangnam, 2 out of 3 places recommended canthoplasty, so I wondered if maybe because Gangnam rent is more expensive, they add things on and upsell)

4. ㅇㅇㅇ (private clinic) Natural adhesion (double-locking method only at the very front and back)~looking at my natural crease, they said even buried suture probably wouldn’t come undone easily Semi~I liked both the left and right designs! Canthoplasty is 100% personal choice; ptosis correction depends on the condition (When I asked, if ptosis correction makes the eyes clearer, then what’s bad about it, they said that actually non-incisional ptosis correction has a very subtle effect, so there’s no chance of overcorrection; rather, some people are dissatisfied because it doesn’t show. In other words, they said there’s no downside)~This gave me confidence, so I decided not to do canthoplasty, and because I have sleepy-looking eyes, I decided to do ptosis correction (Partial model condition) Natural adhesion 70.4 + with ptosis correction 107.8 ~ I paid a 100,000 won deposit that day! If the date isn’t confirmed, a full refund is possible >>>Until then, I hadn’t found a place that felt right, so I was really worried whether I needed to go to more consultations or try places that charge consultation fees, but thankfully I liked this place A one-person female-doctor eye-specialty clinic, and maybe because it was the last appointment slot, there was almost no wait, and the consultant was really pretty and kind From online research it seemed on the expensive side, and people said there was pressure and upselling, so I intentionally went last, but huh? There was none of that at all If you confirm and pay 200,000 won, it’s non-refundable and only transfer or changes are possible, but if you don’t confirm the date and only put down 100,000 won, they said there’s no reason it wouldn’t be 100% refundable The director speaks very fast, but answered everything I was curious about very thoroughly +AS 2 years; swelling care provided as needed; review condition is writing a review with cropped photos and allowing online/offline use

I’m about 88% set on ㅇㅇㅇ. What slightly bothers me is that although I saw comments saying the reviews are good, there are actually very few surgical reviews in this community (I even looked at premium reputation, but there weren’t many in the first place, so it wasn’t particularly helpful). On the Gangnam Unni app, the lines looked much deeper than my taste (probably because of swelling), so it’s hard to judge, and in the end, with double-eyelid surgery, you only know after doing it!! I’ll probably do it here, but if anyone has experience with ㅇㅇㅇ, your opinion would really help a lot!! Comments trying to strongly dissuade me are also welcome For all of us to have successful double-eyelid surgery where the first surgery is the last surgery!-
