Hehe, I had double-line excision surgery because of sausage eyelids + asymmetry, and I’m currently 1 month post-op The photo is from the early post-op period before stitch removal Even though people say there can be a lot of asymmetry early on because of swelling, the reason I really felt something had gone wrong was because the lines looked that different even when my eyes were closed When my eyes were open, they could be uneven because of swelling, but I heard that when the eyes are closed, the lines should matchㅠㅠ Because the difference was so big, when I was getting the stitches removed, I told the doctor that the asymmetry and the higher line on one side didn’t seem to have been resolved, and he got angry, saying what was I going to do if it was just swelling and why was I doing this to him, so I got angry too and we both raised our voices...ㅠㅠ Just thinking about that day.... makes me feel dizzy... I do think doctors say it’s swelling because there’s nothing they can do right away, but doesn’t the person involved just know? A surgery that went well feels like it went well from the beginning! The suture line also feels like it isn’t cleanㅠㅠ The scar has raised now too, so it’s become even bumpier As expected, even now at 1 month post-op, it’s still asymmetrical and I’m not satisfied. The scarring is also severe I’m so upsetㅠㅠ It’s hard... I just hope even the scars calm down quicklyㅠㅠㅠㅠ I had it done at a place that gets mentioned quite a lot for revision double-line excision, and the reviews were good, so I went there... They are supposedly good about aftercare/revision service, so I’m wondering if it’s right to receive AS here Everyone, be careful with double-line excision surgery. I think it’s better to be prepared for scarsㅜㅠ Especially after 3 weeks... keep that in mind
