My eyesight was really, really bad Probably around -7 myopia and -2 astigmatism?
So I had the surgery thinking it would be meaningful just to be able to take off my glasses, but my quality of life really changed.
I'm honestly really scared of things like surgery, but this truly feels like the best move of my life.
Everyone is probably worried about dry eyes too, but I used to live with contact lenses on, so compared with wearing lenses all day, my eyes don't even feel 1/100 as dry, seriously..
But now, a little over a year after surgery, I feel like my vision is slowly getting worse, so I'm a bit worried ㅜㅜㅜㅜㅜ
There can be individual differences, because due to my job I work overtime a lot and have to look at a monitor for at least 12 hours a day ㅜㅜ
But even so, if someone told me to do it, I'd do it again! I really recommend SMILE LASIK!
Especially if you've had poor vision your whole life, definitely do it ㅜㅜ It's a whole new world
