I had the surgery on the same day and received an acquaintance discount. From the same-day examination to the surgery, it took about four hours total? I didn’t go for consultations at other hospitals because it was too much hassle.
Pre-op chart -6/-6.25 moderate myopia -0.75/-0.75 astigmatism
Pupil size 6.7/6.7 Currently, there is almost no nighttime glare/halos (I had some before surgery too, so it’s similar to before)
Corneal thickness 542/543
Tear volume 5/4 I had some dry eyes, and I had barely slept the night before, so my eyes felt even more gritty.
The surgery was pretty scary…… It was the scariest surgery I’ve ever had. The director didn’t explain much and just performed the surgery.
If you’re having same-day surgery, bring a guardian with you on the day of surgery and for the next-day visit. It’s hard to see well, so going home alone is a bit inconvenient.
My eyes were uncomfortable and my vision was blurry until about one week. When I looked at text up close, my eyes got so tired. It felt like grains of sand were in my eyes, and they were extremely dry. Right after one week passed, it improved like magic. To the point that I forgot to use the eye drops and artificial tears. The glare/halos improved a bit more gradually.
At the checkup the day after surgery, my vision came out above 1.5. I’m supposed to go for the one-month checkup, but it seems like the surgery went well, so I didn’t go because it was a hassle.
I had dry eye syndrome before surgery, and until one week after, I couldn’t live without artificial tears, but now it feels exactly the same as when I hadn’t had surgery at all.
Even if I were born again, I would definitely get this surgery.
