I got consultations because my alae were very droopy and I disliked how my nostrils looked upturned. At Mint, they said it probably wouldn’t look dramatically obvious, showed me surgery case photos similar to mine, and said it would be about that level. (Even that level looked good to me.) They weren’t really strongly recommending surgery. They explained that the starting point where the alar drooping begins would not move upward; that starting point would stay the same, and the part that had sagged down and covered the nostril would be lifted. At Rococo, they said the effect would be good, but since my nostrils are on the small side, the nostrils could become longer and narrower, and they recreated it with a wooden stick. Even if the alae are lifted, if the nostrils become narrower, I thought it might not be great for breathing or appearance, so I couldn’t decide that day and left. Cost-wise, Rococo was more than twice as expensive as Mint. I hope this helps!
